Soap-Dish was an experimentation in mindless creation.
Each image was created by adding varying amounts of clear liquid dish soap and food dye to an under-lit clear container, after adding the base materials I would add other objects such as ice cubes to the mix. The Rorschach-like images created through my mindless and blindfolded blending contain a multitude of visuals resulting in a myriad of responses from viewers, creating a dynamic and engaging series that when printed on acrylic sheets appear to "float" within the frame emulating the liquid state of the objects being photographed.
